Video Interview
On Friday, May 5th 2023, we went to a convention of local politicians to talk about the railroad’s question. Urbino’s mayor, Maurizio Gambini, and the Marche’s region president Francesco Acquaroli. There, we had a chance to interview the region’s minister of transports, Francesco Baldelli. He said that the meeting’s purpose was to make suggestions and show some projects about the railroad, that could represent a chance to connect Urbino with the Adriatic line and, consequently, with the rest of Italy. We asked him if he knew something about the study made in 2019 about the possibility of restore the binaries. He told us that he had read the study, but the National Minister would decide how and when to show it to the public. Unfortunately, during the meeting no real projects were shown and engineer Cantamessa, of the National Railroads Association only spoke in favour of trains in general.
